"The house is absolutely stunning full of antiques in keeping with the medieval era. The view through the window over the river was magnificent. All the beds had comfortable mattresses and pillows, and it was very dark and quiet and we slept well. The size of the house was perfect for our family of five. The kitchen had very good for facilities for cooking. You do need to be quite fit to stay at Mont Joie as it is at the top of the hill that you need to walk up and within the house itself, there are two long flights of stairs. "

"Wonderful location and property. Beautiful pool and decking area overlooking Dordogne countryside with hot air balloons most mornings and evenings. Beatrice and Remy gave us a very warm welcome and showed us around the house when we arrived - they live just up the road so are available in case of any issues during the stay. Some lovely villages and towns within easy driving distance and Roque Gageac is a 45 min walk through the forest. Would highly recommend. "

"Everything was just right, with an easy checking in process, help on hand if we needed it. The kitchen was very well equipped and the laundry facilities were particularly useful. "We booked Chez Suzy for a family reunion, and it was perfect. 7 berooms, most ensuite. Facilities were great too with a lovely pool and gardens. Nice bbq area with a choice of either charcoal or gas. We dined outside as we barbecued most nights with the seating area more than adequate for our number. Most of the family drove from the UK, Germany and Gibraltar and more than enough room for the 3 cars.We highly recommend and hopefully we can visit again.Evelyne proved a lovely host and was always available if needed. "I stayed at this property with my 18 year old son for 8 nights. It's was absolutely wonderful! The house is cozy and comfortable, and we enjoyed all of the different areas to sit outside. Having a pool on the roperty was an added bonus. I would highly recommend!"
