"A beautiful house, spotlessly clean, spacious and with fabulous views, and a lovely private garden at the rear. We had a wonderful week in the house. It's a perfect base to explore the area. We really enjoyed shopping at the many local markets and eating at the house in the evenings, either in the dining room overlooking the river or in the pretty garden. The kitchen is superbly equipped for good cooking! The hosts are very friendly and helpful."

"Our two families spent a week in this wonderful house. The pictures donât do justice to this amazing and unique property - the house is very well designed and decorated, the kitchen had everything we needed for cooking, swimming pool well maintained with a beautiful view of the valley. The house has several decks which allowed for everyone to have space to spread out.Located in a secluded area, the house allows easy access to many local attractions, restaurants and markets.The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We could not recommend this house more! "
"There are not enough words to describe this lovely part of France. We have been to France many times but this area is amazing. Mont Joie exceeded all expectations. A beautiful property set above the Dordogne where we were provided all amenities and more. We were able to relax and enjoy our time together. Martine is a joy, she helped us in so many ways! "This property is for true lovers of authentic historic homes. It is funky, cute, cozy- all at the same time. It has lots of character , squeaky floors, antic furniture. Views are of Dordogne river and hills beyond. It is at the quiet end of town. The house is equipped with everything you need, including washer machine. We couldnât ask for better experience . Highly recommend "
