"Three of us stayed here for a fortnight. Wonderful host. The property was fairly new, clean and comfortable. Could do with some more hooks to hang things on. It’s rural setting is lovely and we really enjoyed our drinks and cheese outside on the deck in the evenings watching the sunset. "We had a long drive and we were met by both Bernard and Martine, they were very welcoming. Their place is lovely right on the river and what a view! We loved the balcony and sat watching the local fisherman fishing for salmon. Their place has been carefully decorated and we had everything we needed. "I had not properly read that there would be no towels. We have not experienced this before. We had arrived by air so carrying those is not practical. Thankfully we were close to friends who helped us or we could not have had a shower after our long journey as there were no shops near. I wish they would be provided for other travellers like ourselves. We were told it was because of Covid but bed linen was provided and we could not understand the difference! Everything else was perfect."

"We booked a family room which had double bed and 3 beds in adjoining room. Friendly, helpful staff. It was very quiet and bed was comfortable. Spacious bathroom with lovely hot shower. Breakfast was buffet help yourself and had a good selection. Would definitely use again."
