"We visit Summitt Inn yearly, a favorite vacation place for us to stay. Wonderful historic building with stunning views and sunsets. Staff is very helpful and friendly.Food is plentiful and delicious. Wonderful large stone fireplace with an area for gathering. The outside veranda offers plenty of seating, evening dining a plus. Rooms clean and comfortable."

"We had a total surprise arriving at this hotel. It’s located away from the main highway but close to anything you need while traveling and a host of places to eat. We were given a room on the top floor facing the backside of the hotel with a fantastic view of the river and Morgantown in the distance. The rooms are thoughtfully designed and built with care to ensure a quiet nights rest. The property has a great sitting area and firepit out back and a lounge area with an interesting variety of media. The property is immaculately clean and the staff excellent."

"The tree house was very cute and my young girls had a great time and loved all the games and activities for them. However, one of the ladders to get to the loft was not very secure and the only way to affix a gate to the other loft was with a bungee cord, which is also not secure. The larger bed was not very comfortable and I could not get the WiFi to work. We weren’t able to stay longer to enjoy the outdoor area but it was very nice and secluded."
