"We arrived mid afternoon on a drizzly day and looked forward to taking time out. Check in was Friendly, quick and efficient. There was a nice warm log stove in the main area, the bar area was inviting and clean. We had a couple of drinks while looking at the miserable weather outside. It was a lovely afternoon break, and we then ended up staying and ordering an evening meal. Ordering via the app along with a discount code was quick and easy, and within fifteen minutes our meals arrived with a smile, the meals were well presented, and very tasty. The breakfast next morning before checking out, was also very tasty with a smile again, and choice of toast types and tea/coffee whichever we wanted. Check out was just as quick and easy, we shall be staying again as it was a most enjoyable one night stop, with easy access to tourist attractions in the area. The room was comfortable, and spacious. The staff were all helpful, cheerful and efficient."

The spa was the highlight—complete with a rooftop pool, relaxation pool, saunas, steam rooms, and thermal baths filled daily with Buxton’s natural spring water. The experience was deeply restorative and left us feeling refreshed. We appreciated the central location, which made it easy to explore Buxton and the nearby Peak District. Everything felt clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed. The overall experience was smooth and satisfying. Ensana Buxton Crescent gave us a memorable blend of heritage, wellness, and relaxation."

"A great place for an overnight journey break, excellent breakfast and friendly staff. Room was a little dated but clean and in keeping with the style you’d expect of the period. The EV chargers were easy to use and worked without issue. Just wish we could have spent some more time there to explore."
