"My wife and I loved our time at this property. It has a very cute garden where we would sit and have tea. We also enjoyed the art display in the living room, which was all made by the host’s mother. "Stayed here for a short time but definitely meets our needs. Hotel is walking distance from the train station, 7/11 and the small shopping centre. The male receptionist is very helpful and accommodating eventhough we check in past midnight because of delayed flight. Room is good and bathroom is good. Definitely recommend it. "

"Pungent smoke atmosphere, missing utensils, 1 cup , 1 miso bowl but 2 people. Probably ok for a young couple just needing a couple hours rest before moving on quickly, we didn’t feel sheets were clean, towels etc so used our own and put jackets down to rest on. "

Cochi Stay Beautiful architecture, Long term stay

"This was a beautifully authentic Japanese house in a beautiful setting. The owner is the architect and he did an amazing job with design and upkeep. When he found out we were arriving by train, he picked us up at train station and dropped off on our way out and helped us with our tickets to Tokyo. We loved our stay!!!!"

"We enjoyed the ryokan very much for the authenticity of old Japan. The dinner and breakfast were outstanding. Wearing the yutaka at the property was such a thrill for us. The staff were so friendly, kind and attentive. Thank you for your hospitality. We enjoyed our stay immensely. Such a contrast from the hustle and bustle of Tokyo and Osaka central. And the view from the 5th floor! Breathtaking. Very convenient to be shuttled from the train station. Thank you again. "
