Showers in the onsen are cold and you have to wait for many minutes in order for hot water to come out. The rooms and elevators are old. the outdoor hotspring is on the top floor with no facilities (you have to go downstairs first and shower) and no real view to speak of. "Excellent central hotel in Nagano, very close to the station (around 5 min walk). We checked in late after the Shinkansen from Tokyo and the process was quick and efficient. The breakfast was good and twinned with Wendy’s so there was the option of a burger as well. Clean and tidy hotel. "
