"The hotel was honestly mediocre. The location was the greatest asset. My biggest complaints are maintenance and cleanliness related. One of my pillowcases had noticeable staining and soiling, and the bedspread had a small stain. The shower curtain was cut off weirdly at the bottom making it difficult to keep in place. The bathtub had been poorly refinished. The bathroom mirror light was very dim and blue hued -which was odd. The bathroom didn’t seem to have an exhaust fan or ventilation either. The windows didn’t open at all, and since there was no ventilation in the bathroom when I took a shower the entire hotel room would get filled with steam. The staff were nice, no complaints there."

"Stylish hotel with very good public spaces. Helpful and friendly staff. Incredibly small room without basic practicality including space for clothing and luggage. No tea/coffee in room. The 50$ amenity is just an upcharge with little benefit. I won’t stay here again. "

"Lovely big room that was recently renovated. Super comfy bed. Only issue was that the hotel was being renovated and so was noisy and dusty and we weren’t informed when we booked"

"The location was phenomenal - in close proximity to so many great restaurants, shops and attractions. However, I was very disappointed in the quality of the room, particularly the mattress was absolutely terrible (super thin and bouncy) and the bed was very small. The rooms look modern from the pictures but they weren't in reality. The size of the rooms was decent though for Manhattan. "

"The room was clean. Staff friendly and helpful. There are shops and restaurants nearby. The bed was not as advertised. We were promised a queen or two twin beds. We got a small full size mattress. The property is very dated. No couch, just a futon which was so low to the ground it was very difficult to get up from. The phones in the room didn’t work so thankfully we didn’t have an emergency. There was one small tv in the living area that didn’t work. The staff came up and finally got a few channels on it. No TV in the bedroom. There was a window a/c unit in the bedroom and a portable a/c in the living area. They worked but their remotes didn’t always work. It was easy to get an Uber or Lyft. The next time I’m in NYC I will spend a little more if needed to get a nicer hotel with more amenities."
