"Aside from check-in being a bit of a sham and WiFi not being quite as good as advertised, nothing really to fault about Heythrop. Beautiful building in an idyllic location. Beautifully maintained, inside and out. We had a ‘basic’ room I guess, but even this was fabulous. Super comfy beds, great shower, lovely view. Super relaxing. Was hesitant about the entertainment initially but far exceeded expectations. Excellent vocalists, slick performances, and the most incredible Magician on our second night. Food was varied and top quality. Ate in both the buffet style and served restaurants. Very impressed with both. Very high staff/customer ratio, all very friendly and attentive. Our first time here, and not our last. "

"Quick check in, comfortable bed with fresh clean sheets and big fluffy towels. High quality toiletries and plenty of hot water with good water pressure. I slept soundly and will definitely stay here again. Very good value for money given such a central location in Chipping Norton. "

"The flat is beautifully and tastefully decorated. Very spacious, light and comfortable. We were very pleased with how clean it was, as we are very fussy about cleanliness. Even the bathroom was clean enough for our standards which we do not normally say. Nice and comfortable bed as well and again very clean bed linen. The location was perfect. Just a few seconds away from the High St. Shops, pubs, restaurants, coffee shops all within less than a min on foot.Missing from the listing (if it is there, we did not find it even though we looked) is what extras are available such as cleaning products, pans and pots, crockery, iron and iron board, everything really. We highly recommend it to anyone planning a few days away in the Cotswolds. Oh! And the Cotswolds… had never been before, but totally fell in love with it. "

"Had a lovely stay at Windsor cottage. Well presented, great amenities and the most comfortable bed in the master bedroom. Slept like a log! Ate out in local restaurants, which were lovely especially Alberto’s Italy. There are a couple of free parking areas in town 5-10 minutes away. During our stay there was a film set in place for Father Brown and a restriction at the end of the road. It didn’t take away from our stay, but was glad of the premier inn parking just a 100m away. We pulled up to the cottage easily to drop off but when the film set was in place that week only, we carried back to the premier inn really close car park. At the time only £3 a night if you pay in the machine right by the premier inn entrance, as advised by their staff. Worked really well. Would highly recommend using it for the cottage as it made coming and going from the cottage really easy with lots of spaces. (The only very tiny issues to highlight to the owners need to maintain the path out the back of the property, to make more pleasant use of the back gate for rubbish. Also just some maintenance like the blind in the bathroom) However I would definitely book again as it’s a great base for Blenheim and the rest of the beautiful Cotswolds. One bathroom which has a massive shower, the lounge was cosy with a log burner and the kitchen was well appointed for our short stay. We really enjoyed our stay at Windsor Cottage. Thank you!"

"The location was close to the high street and conveniently accessible to nearby attractions in the Cotswolds. The house was cozy and warm, making it a great choice for a family winter getaway for a few days. However, there were a few minor details that could be improved, such as the TV remote lacking batteries (we had to purchase and replace them ourselves) and the kitchen knives being quite dull, which made them difficult to use. These small points aside, we had an enjoyable stay overall."
