"When I arrived the owner came out and showed me exactly where to go. The apartment was small but just what I needed. It was clean, smelled nice, and I appreciate the nice touch of having gentle music and scenery on the TV monitor. Great stay. A couple of unexpected, but friendly dogs were nearby, eager for a pat on the head. All good!"

St. Croix owes us nothing largely in part to our stay at the Waves. It is a boutique lodging only hosting 11 guest rooms that are available beautifully decorated for the boho chic enthusiasts. Each room hosts a private deck that has indescribable views of the island’s ocean views (along with the best ocean sounds we’ve ever heard considering we sleep every night with prerecordings of such).

This place is unlike any other! You get the whole flat to yourself, so you have lots of space. Very colorful and comfy. Keyless entry was awesome and the location is incredible - right in the middle of everything fun! The owner is so nice and very accommodating. I would recommend this property to anyone!

The staffing is amazing and deserves all the praises for making our stay a memorable one. They took great care of my family and we had great conversations. The property was clean. The beach and pool was tend to daily and well kept. I loved every minute of my stay. Seven days was not enough but I feel blessed to have been able to stay. We will be back.

Excellent views with warm winds, very relaxing. Close to everything, short drive to Beach and Dining. Property does not have a pool, bar or food as stated on Expedia however I recommend and will definitely stay again.

It was very quiet since we were there during off season. Staff was excellent and most helpful. Food at the 2 restaurants was good. They do need to fix the elevator, however. Beach was not very walkable but understand they plan to improve the beach front.

We escaped 3 feet of snow in Maryland on a last minute trip to St. Croix and chose Tamarind Reef as a result of the guest reviews and the obviously relaxed, quiet nature of the resort. Based on some of the reviews I read prior to booking our week's stay, I wasn't really expecting all that much for the rate that we paid. I was pleasantly surprised! Our room had two queen-sized beds and I have never slept on more comfortable hotel beds. They must have been brand new. The room's advertised facilities (air conditioning, room safe, refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker, etc.) worked as they were supposed to. The hair dryer didn't but was replaced the next day...
