"This is a unique hotel located inside a 12th century castle, staff was very nice and restaurant inside the hotel was amazing, we had dinner with great views and delicious food, breakfast was complimentary and very nice, we loved the overall experience "
"Loved this hotel! Staff were very friendly, location was perfectly in the middle of the locations we were going to. Bus stops right in front of the restaurant attached to the hotel, and this same bus goes straight to the train station so public transportation is convenient. Despite not adding the breakfast option, coffee, tea, water, and umbrellas were available to all guests. Thank you for an awesome stay!"

"This is a “must stay and relax” type of place. The staff is incredible, the customer service is superb and the amenities (spa. Swimming, kayaking, paddleboarding, boating, biking, etc.) is fabulous. The property is lakefront with amazing views. It is centrally located to visit several cities and easy parking. Highly recommend and the four restaurants are so good. Great time and will visit again! "We loved our room, the beds were comfortable, the place was clean and the shower was great with plenty of water pressure and hot water. Parking was free and easy, a huge bonus in acountry with limited parking. A great restaurant is a two minute walk away and a Coop grocery store is about a seven minute walk. I stayed here last year and again this year will stay again any"
"Good hotel if you're just looking for a place to sleep, since you’ll probably be out exploring most of the time. It’s not a 5-star property, but it does the job for a night or two. Staff were friendly and the location is spot on — about a 10–15 minute walk to the lake and the center of Thun. Parking is available right next to the hotel and it’s affordable, but make sure to have some Swiss Franc coins on you."

"The building was beautiful and the room was nice and big. The view looking out is absolutely gorgeous. The view also in the back is amazing. Unfortunately, their breakfast did not match The view. Also, we thought the breakfast was complimentary and even then I wouldn't have eaten it, but I didn't realize we were getting charged even for the breakfast for how bad it was. Also there is not AC in all the rooms. Keep that in mind if it's a hot day that you go. Also the water is leaking out on the shower onto the carpet. Without there being AC it could cause some mildew buildup if they don't get on top of it. Even with those things we really enjoyed or stay."
"Great place. Quirky yet comfortable rooms in a central location. I liked the the serviced communal areas on the first floor for preparing own food, gave it a youth hostel type feel. The presence of the helpful friendly hosts added to the charm of the place. The roof terrace with views of the mountains and the city were a favourite place to bring breakfast and start the day.
