"The Host(s) Mary and Jose are amazing and will make sure you have everything you need and will go the extra mile during your stay: Food Delivery, Ice Delivery, keep house clean ect.....Understand this....if you are going to stay here....you will need a Rental Car if you plan on seeing anything! Nearest town is Bacalar 30 minutes away! There is Nothing near you. The house pictures and accommodations are exactly what is portrayed! Beautiful and very relaxing!!!! If you are looking for peace and quite! This beautiful property is perfect! We had a wonderful time. Oops.... Bring Bug Spray just incase! "

"This place was perfect for my birthday getaway with friends. The lake and dock were fantastic and really made us feel like we were on the edge of the world, we saw maybe 6 other people the whole time we were on the water. Rooms were clean and the AC units in the bedrooms worked great. It was a true jungle oasis. Felt very safe, especially with the 24 hr manned security gate. The chef recommended by Sally, Chef Martin and his team made the most delicious meals. Large portions and truly amazing food every single day, that was such a treat. Would love to come back!"

"The place is amaizing, but the beach club is not so good, the only thing that I don’t like was a very very bad smell in the first room, when sombody uses the shower smells very bad the sink. But I think that it is easy to solve"

"This place is nothing like pictured unfortunately we booked 5 nights and we so much regretted it first it's 25 minutes from the center of bacalar the roads are terrible especially when it rains, the room are very basic, beds and a shower that's all , rooms are not clean, or cleaned properly and have a wet smell to them ,bed sheets and towels have stains, very uncomfortable beds , the swimming pool looks like a square hole with just water in it,lots of mosquitoes, we were never offered any amenities except for a Christmas eve dinner and it was very thoughtful but very awful , DONT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE"

"Our initial few days were great. The house has many great places to take in and enjoy the beautiful lagoon. Our kids enjoyed swimming in the lake and using the paddleboards and kayaks. The house couldn't hold up to the weather we experienced. One day during the rain, the kitchen was a quarter-filled with a puddle of water. The next day it rained harder and more water came in. As we were clearing that, the power went off. A nearby line had come down, which clearly wasn't the fault of the property. The generator couldn't handle much draw though. We turned off all the lights and all 5 of us slept in one room with the A/C to minimize power draw. That seemed to work until the generator ran out of fuel in the middle of the night. We left a day early because it seemed the power would be out for awhile. The house manager was excellent before and throughout all this. Very responsive and doing everything he could with the resources at hand."

"Una experiencia única, en la mitad de la jungla, totalmente natural, con árboles dentro de la habitación. El personal superrrrrr atentos y amigables. El desayuno muy saludable y con ingredientes orgánicos. Mi única anotación es que al ser en la mitad de la jungla y ecologista, pues no hay fumigación y se encuentran todo tipo de insectos dentro de la habitación y en las instalaciones."

"Very pleasant outdoors, good food, excellent pool, comfy beds but.. no air conditioner! That was a big let down in the tropical, him I’d weather of Quintana Roo! Our room did not have mosquito screens in door and window, so we couldn’t even have some outdoor wind moving around the room. It was a rough night."
