"This place is nothing like pictured unfortunately we booked 5 nights and we so much regretted it first it's 25 minutes from the center of bacalar the roads are terrible especially when it rains, the room are very basic, beds and a shower that's all , rooms are not clean, or cleaned properly and have a wet smell to them ,bed sheets and towels have stains, very uncomfortable beds , the swimming pool looks like a square hole with just water in it,lots of mosquitoes, we were never offered any...

"Caesar is a great host. Warm & friendly. The property sits right on the lake. It’s a beautiful property, accommodations are basic. The road is very Rocky but only for a block or two. "
