"Competitively priced, basic hotel very handy for Terminal 2 at MAN (5 minute walk). Clean, quiet and convenient. Room is compact, with comfortable bed, shower essentials and kettle with tea and coffee. Great value and will stay again."
"Rooms are far from the reception, initially I had a room which was under ground level, the room was lovely and big but had a dated bathroom with cob webbs but I asked to move and they kindly arranged another room closer to reception.
WiFi wasnt that great nor was the signal for mobile.
As I had changed rooms I forgot my room number and during breakfast the staff member wouldnt let me in for breakfast even though I was there the previous day for breakfast and she remembered me. Both staff members told me to go to reception to get my room number and then they can let me in.
Breakfast was basic and had filtered coffee.
Parking was a challenge as it was pretty full on both days"
"Had to pre book parking for the hotel but they do offer 3rd party booking for parking which to be honest took me longer to drive than walk. We had parking arranged so I took a 5 min walk in the morning then dropped my car off at my car park. The food was amazing and just the Resturant makes it worth it I would use them again"
"Can’t fault the hotel, the location, the pool n spa & the bedrooms all outstanding. Check-in although early was sufficient but not much enthusiasm when we arrived……when we came back to official check in again nothing outstanding but sufficient. Rooms lovely 6th floor and the pool a bonus too prior to a holiday, very clean and well presented! My one downside was cost of snacks n food (330mls Diet Coke £3.34 to buy from reception area), 750mls water £5 room service just seems a little over priced to me! All in all though a great hotel with a first class access to Manchester Airport T2 a short walk away!"
"Excellent hotel. Location for the station could not be improved. We were upgraded to a lovely room which was spacious and clean. The hotel is not perfect but I love that, as it feels like a ‘real hotel’ with character. Breakfast was very good in a large room overlooking the garden. The evening meal was of a high standard. The garden needs addressing under the trees where the sun canopy was covered in bird poo, this let the beautiful space down. The staff were all very professional and helpful."
"Excellent hotel. This was our second visit. Perfect location, just a short walk along the canal into the centre. Room clean, staff friendly and helpful, breakfast excellent and well organised. Only criticism would be a lack of air conditioning in the room, although a fan was in the room. Overall, an excellent short break."
