sharp for transport to the city. It never came. The hotel reception said that in Peru when we say 6 am we really mean 7 am. Unbelievable. I only woke up at 5 am and was there 15 minutes early. I had to hitch a ride with another couple’s driver (pure luck) to get to the city, My driver is still probably on his way. The worst part is in my haste I left behind my hat....

The service during meals was just outstanding--we did not have to wait between courses or for our glasses to be refilled as staff kept a close eye. "An absolutely incredible place to relax and explore the Colca Valley! The location couldn’t be better—just steps from the hot springs, which we had almost entirely to ourselves on a weekday.
