"This was truly an “Pub with and Inn” experience. The Cat in the Custard is the hub of this small Cotswold village, so we felt like travelers in time. Our room was in the eaves and very tiny so we moved to a larger one - both were lovely. The food is very good, and the breakfast hot and plentiful. "

"A nice stay when in the area. The food is good, as are the team. I did hear some locals moaning about both, however that isn't my experience at all. The rooms are good, I had a different room this time and it's probably due for some tlc, however it was serviceable and the bed was comfy etc. The Bowl has a nice feel in a lovely location - it was a stunning evening to sit outside and dine whilst reading a book - with the bell ringing practise starting in the evening. "Quirky, quiet place to stay between the river and the canal. Lovely, comfy room and quiet. The restaurant is open Weds onwards. There is a Toby Carvery a few minutes down the road but not dog friendly. Gloucester centre about 10 mins drive away. Good stop on the way to Wales."

"The London Inn is a good place for Bed & Breakfast on the outskirts of Cheltenham. It's about a mile East of the centre, on the A40 (which is not the trunk road at this point, carrying mainly local traffic into the town). On-street parking was possible on the main road - the side road had no spaces when I tried. Its location means there was a bit of road noise (I had a room with a lot of window area facing the road, but there was secondary double glazing which kept it manageable. The bed was...

"Had an overnight stay here recently and enjoyed it. Plenty of towels, couple of bottles of water in the fridge, good tea/coffee facilities. Shower was very good. Light sleepers may be affected by cars leaving the venue via the gravel car park and the in-room fridge switching on during the night. Staff were friendly and helpful. Good selection of beers to choose from and an option to have dinner there. Separate entrance/exit from the pub entrances, very useful indeed. I would stay here...
