"The rooms were clean and spacious as well as comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was a little busy so some of the public areas could have been a little cleaner but nothing serious. "

Staff friendly and helpful, but not all able to speak fluent English - understandable as Quebec is French speaking - but good to know this beforehand. Hotel is close to Ottawa (10 min taxi ride to CBD). Buffet breakfast on offer was a nice selection of fresh fruits, cereals, hot foods, breads - additional charge but I thought was worthwhile, and there were no nearby alternatives to go to. Would recommend to solo traveller - I felt safe staying there."

"Room interior is old and tired looking but it is spotlessly clean and well equipped. Our room was a suite. Full kitchen was great. Only thing we needed was a spatula. Great location to restaurants, museums, and Byward Market. All walkable. We will stay here again for our next visit to Ottawa "
