"We absolutely loved this hotel. It was classic medieval right down to the wine cellar. Reservation a table outside if the weather is good. It is a perfect place to enjoy a great meal and glass of wine. The town is charming and there are so many excellent wineries nearby. Highly recommended!"

"The host Alvero was very helpful and welcoming. Hotel was clean and very spacious. The jacuzzi tub / shower combo could’ve used a shower curtain so it didn’t spray all over the floor."

"It was excellent location and staff and food all amazing. It’s right in the centre of the fascinating town Santo Domingo de La Calzada. Love paradors and this one did not disappoint. The food was fab I’d definitely recommend half board. The only negative is that it was quite difficult to locate even with the instructions sent from the hotel. A friendly local had to help us by by getting in the car and telling us where to go."

"this historic property in Haro was very nice. a beautiful lounge/covered courtyard and large rooms and bathrooms. while the frontdesk staff were very nice, many of them did not speak english so it was hard to ask for assistance or help. breakfast was not included (15 euros for a breakfast buffet) and we did not eat at the in house restaurant"
