"Only stayed a night but was good place"

The scenic Withlacoochee River Pet-friendly Bird House

10/10 Excellent

"Best porch ever for rocking or lazing on the comfy sofa watching the river slowly flowing by...Several kakak/canoe options a bonus! The host was very kind and pleasant. A lovely welcome basket and Happy Birthday banner greeted us inside.Only negative was the febreeze/scent plug-ins were overwhelming upon first entering rental"

The Chassahowitzka Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"Charming laid back place that soothes the mind and soul. Peaceful setting, quiet, nature nearby. Full kitchen for use if you choose. Close local watering hole that has food and specials on the weekend within close walking range. A real fish camp with ramp and rental vessels. The hotel has a nice porch and at one end a fire pit for story telling. Being in a historic hotel from 1910."

The Studio at Mason Creek Preserve - Old Homosassa

10/10 Excellent

"We absolutely loved our stay here! The studio was exactly as pictured and truly felt like a little home away from home. The private deck was such a nice touch, and even though the loft is nearby, the outdoor spaces still feel separate and private. We traveled with our two small dogs, and it was perfect for us. Inside, it almost feels like you’re tucked up in the trees, like a cozy little treehouse. It had everything we needed, including a coffee maker, small refrigerator, blow dryer, and just the right amount of space.Homosassa is such a cute little town with great restaurants and fun things to see, including Monkey Island. Andrew was very helpful throughout our stay, and the hospitality from the owners truly went above and beyond. We felt very welcomed and taken care of.We loved it so much that we extended our stay for two more nights. We would absolutely recommend this studio and will definitely be back!"
