Country House With Private Pool

Een prachtig landhuis in typisch Toscaanse stijl, gelegen in de glooiende heuvels van Toscane/Umbrie met prachtig prive zwembad van 6x12 meter. Het rechter gedeelte van het huis wordt verhuurd (190 m2). De eigenaren bewonen het linker gedeelte maar garanderen privacy!! Indien er vragen zijn kunnen ze deze prima beantwoorden omdat ze Engels spreken. Er zijn geen andere huurders. Vanuit het zwembad heeft u werkelijk een fascinerend uitzicht op de glooiende omgeving! De tuin van 3000m2 heeft prachtige beplanting, met een werkelijk hele mooie natuurlijke beschutte plaats met 10 persoons tafel en BBQ om lange avonden te genieten. Achter het huis is een grote veranda van 6x14 meter om te ontspannen. De benedenverdieping heeft een zeer ruime woonkamer met open keuken incl vaatwasser en wasautomaat en 10 persoons eettafel. De inrichting mag compleet genoemd worden. Op de begane grond vindt u tevens een badkamer met douche, wastafel en toilet, vernieuwd eind 2023. Op de eerste verdieping treft u 4 mooie grote slaapkamers aan met 4 tweepersoons bedden. Er zijn nog 2 aparte slaapplaatsen te bereiken vanuit de 4e slaapkamer (entresol). Tevens vindt u op de eerste verdieping een 2e ruime mooie badkamer met douche en toilet, bidet en wastafel. De eigenaren zorgen voor een complete relaxte vakantie. De tuin en het zwembad worden dagelijks onderhouden. Verhuur is inclusief bedlinnen en handdoeken.

This villa has all the Italian charm you could wish for. And fabulous hosts too. Sandra was an exceptionally helpful host and checked in regularly to make sure we needed for nothing. She even delivered fresh vegetables from her garden and bought in bread and treats from her local bakery. She helped us secure transport and gave excellent recommendations for shopping and eating out.

Sehr schönes und gepflegtes Anwesen auf dem Land. Gastgeberin Myriam und Ihr Mann Michele sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit und wohnen mit auf dem Grundstück im östlichen etwas kleineren Gebäudeteil. Wir haben des öfteren leckeres Gemüse aus Ihrem sehr schön angelegten Gemüsegarten geschenkt bekommen. Es gibt etwas oberhalb im Südwesten einen schönen selbstgebauten Pferdestall mit aktuell 2 Pferden. Der von uns bewohnte westliche Hausteil ist ein schön restaurierter knapp 100 Jahre alter Stall mit ca. 4 m Deckenhöhe im Erdgeschoß mit großem und offenen Wohn- und Esszimmerbereich mit anhängender Küche und Bad. Die Küche war super ausgestattet und schön groß für gemeinsames Kochen. Auffallend schön waren einige bunte Glassegmente in den Scheiben des Bads und der Küche, wenn die Sonne Abends hindurch schien. Der Eingangsbereich wird durch eine sehr großzügige Pergola überdacht und bietet richtig viel Platz für geselliges Beisammensein am großen Tisch für 10 Pers. mit Holzplatte. Eine ähnlich große Sitz- und Essgelegenheit gibt es auf dem Weg zum Pool. Im 1.Stock befinden sich das 2.Bad sowie 4 Schlafzimmer, bei dem eins noch einen Aufstieg ins Dach zum 5. Schlafbereich bietet. Somit insgesamt zehn Schlafplätze. Das Haus ist sehr geräumig und mit liebevollen Details sehr schön und individuell eingerichtet. Der umgebende Garten ist riesig, parkähnlich, schön angelegt und gepflegt. Die Aussicht vom Pool nach Westen ist atemberaubend. Die Zufahrt war etwas holprig. Klare Empfehlung!

We had such a lovely week staying in this farmhouse just outside Citta della Pieve. The house itself and interiors are beautiful - the kitchen is well equipped, the beds are incredibly comfortable, the bathrooms modern, the pool is an excellent size, and the views are amazing. The hosts were incredibly friendly and generous, and really added to our overall experience. I would highly recommend a stay here - you will not be disappointed!

En arrivant je dois avouer avoir eu un doute car les propriétaires habitent une partie de la maison, j avais mal lu l’annonce, mais nous avons été très vite rassurés.Nous avons passé un séjour absolument merveilleux dans cette maison en Ombrie. La propriété est splendide : une grande demeure rustique mais parfaitement équipée, décorée avec goût et beaucoup de charme. Le vaste jardin, magnifiquement entretenu, offre un cadre idyllique avec une grande piscine superbe, idéale pour se détendre de jour comme de nuit.La campagne environnante est paisible et ponctuée par la présence de chevaux, ce qui ajoute encore au charme du lieu. Myriam et Michèle sont particulièrement chaleureux et accueillants : ils nous ont offert les produits de leur potager, un vrai régal, et mis à disposition un linge de maison en lin ancien, d’une qualité exceptionnelle.Un véritable havre de paix que nous recommandons sans hésiter, pour un séjour authentique et inoubliable en Ombrie.

Un petit coin de paradis logé entre l'Ombrie et la Toscane. Un merveilleux séjour passé entre amis. Le cadre est exceptionnel et que dire de la piscine. Un très grand merci à Myriam et Michel de nous avoir fait l'honneur de bénéficier de cette villa.

Beautiful holiday home near the border between Umbria and Tuscany. The garden is a peaceful oasis, with plenty of shady spots to relax. The pool is lovely, well maintained, and offers refreshment with a beautiful view of the surrounding landscape.Inside, the house is neat and practically furnished, with a well-equipped kitchen that makes it easy to cook your own meals. Everything is in place for a comfortable stay.A real highlight is the choice between two dining terraces: one covered, attached to the house, and a second one a bit further away under the trees, beautifully decorated with cozy lights in the evening.The location is perfect: quiet, yet central for exploring both Umbria and Tuscany.

Wir waren mehr als begeistert von der Unterkunft. Alles war sauber, das Haus war voll ausgestattet und Miriam, die Gastgeberin, war nie darum verlegen uns zu helfen oder Tipps zu geben. Wir waren 2 Familien mit je 2 Erwachsenen und 2 Kindern & hatten jede Menge Platz. Die Kinder liebten den Pool und die Erwachsenen konnten sich am Haus und dem Panorama nicht satt sehen. Ich bin mir sicher, dass das nicht das letzte Mal war, dass wir zu besuch waren.

Heartwarming stay in stunning surroundings

We stayed in this accommodation, a semi-detached house, with our five children (19, 17, 16, 13, 11) for one week. The owners, Miriam and Georgio, were at that time staying in the other part of the property. First, the accommodation is surrounded by a beautiful garden, the swimming pool is fantastic (with natural stone) and large enough to allow a big family to enjoy itself in it. The property is situated quite ideally: one can easily find nice restaurants or bars in the vicinity and there are many pittoresk sites and cities nearby. The house itself was decorated with much taste and very cosy: the kitchen had everything that was needed and the beds were comfortable. But all of these fine features were only enhanced and completed by the absolute kindness and care of the owners! Miriam made sure that we were comfortable from the first moment we came over the threshold: for example, she kindly showed the children around on the property and even left a birthday gift for one of our sons when she found out that it was his birthday. In short, the hospitality of Miriam and Georgio was simply heartwarming and it made our stay in this fantastic place more than memorable.

Lovely authentic Tuscan house

This is a larger authentic Tuscan farmhouse with a lovely lush garden. The house has a rustic feel with lots of the furniture made by the hosts, the pool and garden are beautiful to relax and take in the views. Many of the sights in southern Tuscany and Umbria are close by (by car). The property is clean and the beds and bathrooms are very comfortable. The hosts are very discreet but will make you feel very welcome. Definitely would visit again!

The Villa is a piece of Tuscan/Perugia heaven!

From the moment of our arrival to when we left the Villa, Miriam was so friendly, helpful and informative about the many amazing places near us. We had the perfect mix of busy days exploring Orvieto, Cetona, Montipulciano, Lago Trasimeno etc. etc. and some lazy days by the pool. As we had some keen cooks, we enjoyed very much the local markets shopping for food and cooking it in Miriam’s great kitchen. The views from every window were fantastic but I loved the view of the hills from the upstairs bathroom! Everyone should experience this level of stay in their lifetime…. The entrance up to the house was on a gravel road but this did not slow us down although a car is needed to not miss out on all the area has to offer. Thanks Miriam and Michele for the amazing stay!

Relaxing holiday
