"Staff upon check in VERY rude, unfriendly and unhelpful. I only hope these staff experience the same when they personally travel. Was the biggest let down of this trip. Will visit NY again but NOT this hotel. Owners should know how their staff represent the hotel so poorly. All of this was unnecessary and unprofessional. More so absolutely unacceptable for people in this type of industry! Room doesn’t look anything like picture. Dark all day."
"I booked a junior suite which was very spacious. The bed was comfortable and the facilities were great. I had to ring down a few times for things such as a kettle & bathrobes etc as they weren’t automatically in the room. Housekeeping tended to clean the bed but unlike other 5 star facilities, the sitting area of the room wasn’t cleaned & the teacups weren’t washed either. Location was good & it was near the subway. I’d probably say it’s more of a 4 star hotel than a 5 star"
"I was shocked how large the room was in comparison to what i expected. The bed was comfortable and I slept very well – I was only woken up because there was no dnd sign in the room and I didn't have time to ask anyone. The 10% at Milk Bar was such a great perk and really added value to the fee. Definitely a more casual hotel with elevated amenities and clean rooms. Very good selection of bath amenities, obsessed with the lotion selection. Will absolutely return for my next stay."
