"A lovely county castle surrounded by Belted Galloway cattle and sheep. The castle grounds have a fruit trees, herbs and vegetables. Tobias is truly a wonderful gentleman and host. He prepared an amazing breakfast both mornings which consisted of local flavors ( haggis, blood pudding, potato cakes, eggs, bacon and sausage). "Nicely converted barn, with clean, warm and spacious open plan ground floor, well laid out with kitchen and dining areas, comfortable sofas and large TV, close to Allonby beach and a great location for exploring the coast and the northern end of the Lake District.
