"The room was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and inviting, which made settling in after our travels incredibly easy. Brandy, along with the rest of the staff, was wonderfully helpful and genuinely friendly throughout our visit. We really appreciated the warm, welcoming atmosphere they created. The location of the hotel was convenient as well, giving us easy access to everything we wanted to explore during our stay. Brandy checked us in, and we ended up having a great conversation with her. My husband grew up in the area, and the two of them enjoyed chatting about how much the community has changed over the years, reminiscing about old landmarks and sharing local stories. It was such a pleasant and personal touch that made our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, we had a great experience and would happily return."

Cabin on Current River- on the water, private dock!

"We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. Checking in was very simple and communication with Chris before booking was great, Chris sent emails to let us know about check-in and check-out. We would have given 5 stars, but we thought there should have been more transparency about the pump used on the other side of the river. It is super loud when spending any time outside and it runs 24/7. Also, it would have been nice to have a couple of chairs that could be taken down to the dock and maybe a couple of outside games (washers or cornhole) since there are no other activities close by, other than the Current river. Overall, we had an enjoyable week, we were looking for down time, so it worked for us. We even had a nice chat with some of the neighbors and the neighborhood dog visited regularly. She is very friendly and had a very sweet personality, our dog, Bear, liked the company!"

"The property was perfect for our Annual Cousin Float Trip and we enjoyed being right on the river. The communication between is and the owners was the best. When we had issues they responded and resolved right away. Great stay and great hosts. Will definitely be back."

"Very nice cabin. Excellent price. Everything was wonderful. They thought of every detail from fish food, hummingbird feeders, motion, detected nightlights, fire pit, s’mores kit, snacks, blankets, amazing deck/outside spaces….literally everything was perfect. I would highly recommend this cabin, and we plan to stay many times in the future."

Current River Retreat - on the water, private dock!

"Cabin was very clean! Everything was perfect! Neighbors didn't bother us at all. River was right outside the back door! Word for the wise, this is a dog friendly area. There are friendly dogs roaming. All of them were sweeties. Also, Google maps tried to take us to the end of the lane, cabin is like the 2nd home on the right."
