"I celebrated 40 years since my Penn State graduation with my senior college roommate at this cabin just a couple miles from Poe Valley State Park. It was a nice peaceful setting near a small stream. The cabin had everything we wanted. Liked the screened-in porch and the recliners (we're getting old). You do need to drive a few miles of dirt roads to get to this area, but the cabin is along a paved road near a small village of cabins just outside the state parks of Poe Valley and Poe Paddy. Plenty of hiking opportunities in a short drive."

"We had a wonderful stay. We were in the area for our daughter’s graduation from Penn State. We stayed in the RV which had all the comforts of home-cozy chairs, a roomy dining area, and comfortable beds. We had a problem with the lock when we first arrived and the owner immediately replied to our query and fixed the issue. We appreciated the very reasonable price-particularly during a time when hotels in State College were asking for hundreds of dollars to a thousand dollars a night. We would definitely recommend this location and if we find ourselves in need of accommodations in the area, we would stay again. "
