We scheduled a large family reunion during our stay; eleven residents staying at the house and a total of twenty-eight visitors coming and going during the weekend. The house accommodated them all with ease. Of special note was the large supply of kitchen utensil: plenty of cutlery, pots and pans, cups and saucers, a wonderful stove, and every imaginable item required to feed a large crowd. And then there is Darrell, a wonderful, welcoming host who made our whole endeavor worthwhile..Without hesitation I recommend Darrell's Tinnakilly Lodge to any vacationer looking for spacious accommodation in a beautiful, quiet location."

"Room dreadful with view of roof, no housekeeping coffee and tea making facilities not replenished. Staff were fantastic, Breakfast was brilliant, Bar is jaded looking. Handles on men’s toilet door need to be replaced as the cannot be cleaned properly as they are coroded. Would not stay there again it’s very remote and the roads are dangerous."
