"Location was beautiful and very clean. Host checked on us several times and are helpful and friendly. The drive to location is rugged. 4WD recommended. Bathroom is 25 mins away just fyi. WiFi was non existent but we didnโ€™t mind. There is a dusk to dawn light that shines in your tent no matter where you put the tent but it was great for cooking and hanging out. No issues with critters either. They also have a nice grill available if you bring the propane. Overall, it was a nice trip! "

"It was a great place. Minus the little miscommunication there was with the romance pack being set up when we first arrived but the manager was nice enough to refund what I had paid extra for it and still set it up the following day while we were out of town. All in all my wife and I enjoyed ourselves very much."

"The Flat Iron was a great hotel experience, the staff was very friendly and helpful, and the hotel itself has a lot of character with Art Deco vibes throughout. I would definitely stay here again when I come back to Asheville. Only downside would be lack of parking, if you bring a car you either have to valet park or pay for daily parking at a local garage."
