"We booked this hotel off of its rating and accolades shown in their site. I do feel, however, that it is VERY overpriced. We were disappointed in this upon arriving to Charleston and seeing what other options we had at much better nightly rates (in fact half the cost) based on when we originally booked the room. "Our stay at the Dayton House Resort was absolutely fantastic! Our ocean-view room was fantastic and well worth it, and the location is impeccable, with easy access to many activities including malls, mini golf, the beach (obviously), restaurants, and more. The hotel's amenities were great, including the pools, hot tubs, and sauna. My only regret with staying here is that I didn't realize the pool bar's drinks were SO GOOD until the last day! We will definitely be returning."
