"Great stay. Great hosts. The outside yard was huge, with a large green space, beautiful gardens, well-situated play set (swings) and beautiful deck with firepit and barbecue. They even had dry wood thoughtfully stored! My mom loved the horses located at the property behind this one! Inside the house, it was rustic, but the amenities were new. Specifically appreciated the modern heating and cooling system (one on each floor), the washer/ dryer, everything in the kitchen, and the hot water. Thankfully the house had a bedroom on the first floor, with a bathroom with a toilet and sink, because the stairs to get upstairs were narrow and steep. My elderly mom stayed on the first floor. My teenagers loved that the stairs - one set straight up and one set a corkscrew- were hidden behind doors, and the three bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms upstairs were excellent and well supplied with towels, soap, shampoo, and other essentials. It was a great house for my family, and close to the wedding venue we were attending. For other families: know your kids, because it was a great house and a great yard, with great hosts! -but there were a lot of antiques within easy reach, a lot of doors that went directly outside (kept locked), a lot of outlets and cords because there were few overhead lights.
