We stayed here for 3 days & were very happy with the lovely accommodations. The room was charming & spotless & the breakfast buffet with homemade goodies was very nice. The property was beautiful with flowers everywhere & even the animals were sweet! It was a pleasure talking with the proprietors & we learned a lot about the area.

Room was clean. Breakfast was good with enough options for everyone. Good orange juice, not watered down. The guy restocking the buffet, I think his name was Chad, was really hustling to keep everyone happy. Front desk help was pleasant and helpful. Indoor pool was nice. Could be a little warmer. We would stay here again in the future. Price for the weekend was better than others in the area.

It’s a lovely old hotel. I’ve driven by a few times and always wondered what it was like inside. It didn’t disappoint! Beautiful old floors and woodwork. Nothing cookie cutter. The bar is gorgeous, but the sound did not penetrate-even with a band playing. Room was clean, plenty of towels and temperature control was quick to change, so very comfortable If you like old buildings this is for you Only one word of caution. You do have to carry your bag up a staircase, so don’t overpack!

The hotel is a great value, very clean and the staff is so warm and welcoming. The complimentary continental breakfast is great, the room is comfortable and spacious, and it is so convenient to area attractions. The only reason for the 4 on comfort was the lack of firmness of the bed and lumpy pillows. Couldn’t have asked for a better getaway. Gorgeous grounds, beautiful rooms, great breakfast and fantastic people. What more can you ask for? Enjoyable, relaxing music playing in the main houses three common rooms including the breakfast room. Chilled bottles of water in the fridge and small bags of ice in the freezer for guests use. There is ample parking and you can’t ask for a better location. A truly great getaway.

We stayed here for our daughter's field hockey tournament at Spooky Nook, 24 minutes away. Beautiful farm country and the cabooses converted to motel rooms were so cool! I noticed they were in the process of updating the interiors of some of the cabooses, ours was a little bit in need of attention but it was minor cosmetic. The desk clerk was so, kind, friendly and accommodating. From the moment we checked in to the time we checked out. Our room was spacious and very clean. I didn't have to ask for anything because the automatically provided extra pillow, blankets and towels. They had free tea, coffee and hot chocolate with free breakfast for all days. Shady Maple was only 7 minutes away as were many great places to get local offerings. Will definitely stay there again.

Very nice comfortable room. Very clean and nestled in a beautiful area. There's a corn field behind the hotel and a beautiful farm across the street. There are lounge chairs in a grassy area in front of the hotel and we watched the Amish buggy's pass by all morning. This is the best area to stay in!
