Maya Beach Hotel

"We absolutely loved our stay at Maya Beach Hotel! The hotel is beautiful, peaceful, and was the perfect place to relax during our time in Placencia. One of the highlights of our stay was definitely the restaurant. The menu had a great variety of interesting and delicious dishes, and the food was excellent. In our opinion, it was one of the best restaurants we experienced in the Placencia area. We enjoyed it so much that dining there became part of the experience of staying at the hotel. The beach was also beautiful and very enjoyable during most of our stay. Unfortunately, on our last day, a large amount of sargassum washed ashore, but of course, this is something natural and beyond the hotel’s control. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and really enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere, the beach, and especially the amazing food. We would definitely recommend Maya Beach Hotel and would happily stay here again!"

"The rooms are modern with TV, fridge and coffee maker with capsule provided. Very spacious bathroom with big walk-in shower. Cold AC and ceiling fan in each room. Expansive your own outdoor patio. Nice /clean pool with the bar and pizza maker very nearby. Prices on drinks and food are reasonable. We use room service and order all meals into the room. Amazing see pier with two story at the end and the bar. My twin boys jump all the time from there into the see. Every night staff making a fire pit and provided with marshmallows and sticks. Fill very safe inside and outside the resort. Perfect place for family with small children(s). Highly recommended...great location, amenities and prices compare to AIRNB/VRBO rentals."

"We rented a home that was managed by the Lodge atjaguar reef with access to all of the facilities and amenities at the Lodge. The home was spacious and comfortable. The lodge staff was very much available and accommodating. I’d stay again and recommend it."

"Pal's is an incredible value if you're looking for an authentic Belizian beachfront experience in Dangriga. It's literally right on the beach, and you'll be waking up to that view every morning. The room was spotless, the bed was very comfortable, and everything was well maintained. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and went out of their way to make us feel at home. If you're someone who wants the full American-style resort experience with an on-site restaurant, bar, and lots of amenities, you may prefer Pelican Beach. But if you're an adventurer who values a sparkling clean room, a comfortable bed, an unbeatable beachfront location, amazing views, and exceptional hospitality, Pal's is the perfect choice. We'd happily stay here again."

From the moment we arrived until the day we left, the staff was the most professional, courteous, and genuinely caring team I have ever encountered. They didn't just provide great service—they made us feel like family. Every interaction was warm, welcoming, and sincere. One staff member who truly stood out was **George**. His attention to detail, professionalism, and willingness to go above and beyond made our stay unforgettable. He was always attentive, accommodating, and seemed to anticipate our needs before we even had to ask. George is a tremendous asset to the resort. The resort itself was absolutely immaculate. Every area was spotless, beautifully maintained, and designed to create a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere.
