This is a great hotel. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We used the pool several times. The room was very comfortable and the air conditioning was a nice perk. You are a 20 minute walk to the main city center. I would highly recommend listening to the advice of the hotel staff and walk along the beach. The walk along the road would not be recommended, especially at night. This property is a good value for your money. I would stay here again.

Great option in Coco. Close to beach, main strip, and some of the better accommodations in the area. Highly recommend this place.

This place was great! Comfortable beds and linens! Great ac! HOT water. There was also a water outage in the whole city but luckily the palms had extra tanks on property and were able to switch to those so we had hot water when the rest of the town didn't! Pool was very clean and large. Food at the hotel restaurant was excellent, including free am breakfast. Within walking distance to the whole town and only 1 block to the beach. Great location near restaurants and beach. Good support when I needed help with a car , problem with water from above unit...people showed up to assost. Also security on premise does a great job of making sure things stay safe in the gated complex.

Was advertised as a ‘good’ hotel. That is true. No more than that. More like a motel, not boutique hotel. Says daily maid service and bicycle rentals- neither of those existed. Had to ask for more toilet paper. Did not ask for maid service as we did not want it. Shampoo and shower gel available but no conditioner. No beach chairs available even though directly on the beach. Can walk to town but it is about .75 miles on the road or 0.5 on the beach. No specific area to wash sand off feet when...

The location is incredible, staff were helpful and friendly! For the price and being directly on the beach it was perfect.

Great amenities and hospitality!!

When we arrived there was a hiccup at airport / rental car. I was very concerned but called Thisbee. She calmed me, explained options, and was a trusted colleague. The owners went well above their “jobs” to assure our stay was perfect, and it was.

It’s a beautiful place to visit. The view is amazing, the food is actually great. My only displeasure was they didn’t have tv BUT that just means you’ll have more reason to connect with family, wife/husband or what ever friends you came with.

Such a beautiful place! Right on the beach. Away from the hustle of central Tamarindo. The staff was super pleasant and helpful and the breakfasts were delicioso!!!

We love this hotel. It is a short walk to the beach, offers great facilities and had a great restaurant, all at a very reasonable nightly rate. During our stay the hotel had live music several nights. No worries about what to do, the hotel can arrange excellent tours to meet every desire. We loved the staff. They were very friendly, always helpful, knowledgeable, and treated us like family. Villa del Sueno will be our go to stay for a mid winter break in the future.

This hotel is on the beach, has amazing grounds, and a chef who worked with my crazy dietary restrictions. There were two other guests who also had food intolerances/allergies, and both were easily accommodated.The breakfast buffet had many fabulous choices. The staff encourages you to order anything else you don't see ...Bacon, fried eggs, omelettes. We drank the 'house water' (from the filtered tap at the bar) the entire time and didn't get sick. This property is beautiful especially for the price. Staff was very accommodating and quick to help. The large ceiling to floor windows provide an absolutely amazing view. Beds are comfortable. Food was good! Beautiful hotel grounds and easy beach access with lounge chairs. Staff is happy to help.
