"I rented the villa for my family of 8 for vacation and celebration of 2 birthdays. Based on the title of the listing I emailed the owner to ensure that the all-inclusive portion of the resort was truly "optional". She assured me via email that it was optional and that we would not incur any additional fees at check-in. My family arrived before me and were not allowed to check-in because the resort was requesting a mandatory per person, per day fee for the all-inclusive amenities. When I arrived and explained that the owner assured us in the rental agreement that we did not have to choose the all-inclusive option we were told that she was incorrect and that we could not stay without it, despite paying for the rental in advance. VRBO was unable to do anything about it and put us in a horrible hotel for the night and said that they could find us another comparable rental within 24 hours. The problem is, one of the members of our party is in a wheelchair and requires specific ADA accommodations. The owner never responded to myself or VRBO when contacted and I hasn't been heard from since. I still have not heard from VRBO regarding a new listing either and our vacation is over. Thankfully I found a new listing for us on Air B&B and our vacation was somewhat saved. Unfortunately, my brother was unable to come because we could not find a rental to accommodate his ADA needs at such short notice. I will NEVER use VRBO again!!!!"

"Could not find the address from VRBO listing. Host did not reply to messages asking for direction. Silence! Booking was not canceled. Now VRBO is saying they cannot refund the money, and I need to contact the host directly. Shame on VRBO."
