"We loved our stay in Beachcomber Cottage. It was an ideal place to end our days and it had the same rural vibe as the rest of the Isle. Perfect for a family of four. It was very clean and well maintained with modern appliances in an otherwise traditional house with lots of history. Be sure to plan your arrival such that you arrive with all the groceries and supplies you will need, as Stein does not have anywhere to buy groceries or other necessities. "Lochsie Cottage was just outside of Portree Isle of Skye. It was in a lovely farm like setting and was very cosy and inviting. We lovely and he spacious living and dining area and the bed was super comfy and warm. The owner Don and his son Ben were helpful and engaging. A great place to stay. "

We stayed there the end of May and I had been trying to reach someone since February! I was trying to cancel one night, but couldn't get anyone to respond to me. I emailed, as did VRBO. We always found a spot on the street to park but the church parking lot is very close if necessary. Really, the place is perfect. We loved every minute of our stay. "
