"An absolutely incredible place to stay, with gorgeous river views and even a lake. We stayed in a barrel which was so comfortable, I really did not want to get out of bed! The owner and others on the farm are kind, warming and helpful, and are clearly working hard to build an amazing space. I just wish I could have stayed longer!"

"Had a lovely stay in the Owl's Roost. The hosts were so kind and couldn't have been more helpful. It was so peaceful being surrounded by fields. The cabin was very clean and beautifully decorated, and the bed was comfy! The hosts even offered to provided a telescope to use for the clear nights, which was a very nice touch (we did bring our own) We will be returning again in the future."

"Wonderful stay! Totally peaceful, with no noise apart from birdsong - just utter bliss.Our host was very attentive if we contacted, but left us to our own devices at all other times.Cooking facilities were great and you could quite easily stay here for the week without stepping outside of the boundary. We saw plenty of butterflies, birds, rabbits and even a hedgehog. Hottub was an amazing addition.The access to the cabin is quite rural, but we were pre-warned! 100% recommend this beautiful and...

"We were welcomed by the owner, she is extremely lovely and kind. She took time to show us round, explaining how to use the log burner and hot tub. We had an issue while there with the Wi-Fi not working and she responded to us straight away and sorted it for us very quickly. The lodge itself is beautiful and spacious. The hot tub is amazing, and the view across the lake is even more amazing. It is within driving distance of lots of places, and a supermarket to buy groceries. Overall an amazing...
