The castle is absolutely beautiful, the staff are great, and uts a freaking castle in the mountains of Italy! The AC didn't work, luckily the weather was great, but July/august could be rough. Day trips to Assisi and Orvieto were amazing, but you must have a rental car. Breakfast was very good. The spa was good. The room was small, but the view made up for it.

What an amazing stay, from the very beginning we knew this place was special. Paul helped us upgrade our room to one with a breathtaking view and made our stay so extraordinary! We were made to feel like family from the moment we arrived, all of the staff was so friendly and helpful and the restaurant, Ceci, is like no-other! We are definitely coming back and cannot recommend this place enough!

Amazing place to stay! It is the little things that make this place one of a kind: like two suitcase stands in the room. The service felt like they were full time career professionals that felt like they really cared about the place and the hospitality. Dinner and breakfast was amazing! Castello Di Monterone is a small castle that has outfitted into an 11-12 room hotel. The rooms are small but comfortable with high quality bathrooms, windows, etc. There are lots of little alcoves, inside and out, to hole up in. Great view of Perugia from across the valley, and the city itself is only a few minutes away (although it's one of the more maze-like experiences to try to get into the city center.) We loved our stay at the beautiful Torre Sangiovanni B&B! Rosary is a lovely host (but don't be late) who serves a amazing breakfast that is both delicious and a work of art! The 1,000 year old castle, was recently very tastefully redone by Rosary. It is situated in Todi in the gorgeous Umbria region of Italy. We loved our short stay and plan to return.
