"Great place to stay, staff always polite and helpful. Rooms upgraded to good standard. Bathrooms still need a bit of TLC - hate shower curtains that stick you, could do with a few more shower gel toiletries and tiles with holes in following upgrades to towel rails, please fill with silicone as it makes bathroom look cheap and you’re doing a dis-service."

"I made things complicated by having two separate third-party bookings for one night each (separate because plans changed, third-party because I can use Tesco clubcard vouchers) but they were able to arrange for me to move into an (upgraded!) room instead of having to check out and back in later. I enjoyed a lovely ride along the nearby Leeds to Liverpool canal."

"Clean and well maintained room. Extractor fan was making a noise but all it took was unscrewing it slightly to make it stop. Breakfast was of a decent standard with choice of regular or crispy bacon which was a nice touch"
