Absolutely incredible hotel. I wish I had stayed longer. I could stay here a week happily. My room was beautiful and peaceful. I felt like I was living in another time. Darshana was wonderfully helpful. 10/10 recommend.

There are multiple activities within walking distance - casino, spa, bar, pool. sea, restaurant, shopping mall, etc. The hotel is self contained and enjoyable by family members of different ages. It is affordable compared to other hotels in Colombo. It is new and well maintained. Staff speak English, friendly, and helpful.

One of the best hotels that my family and I have stayed in. We have used a lot of different hotels throughout the world and Shangri La Colombo ranks one of the best we have stayed in. Even with all the difficulties SL is in now, the hotel staff saw to our comfort without any complaints. I salute the staff and management for their gracious hospitality. Thank you!

Magical hotel in the best area of Sri Lanka. Unlike other high end hotels, you really feel like part of the Cinnamon community here. We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. The location is excellent. We found everything in the hotel perfect: clean, big size room, great service and amenities. Overall, a great place to stay, away from noise and there’s a french bakery a block away that has delicious coffee and croissants.

Absolutely loved staying here although just brief! I landed at 11pm and needed a room for a night before meeting family for a tour. The hotel was in a great location with plenty of restaurants and a grocery store within walking distance. Galle Face Green and the shopping mall just a quick tuktuk ride north. after a week in Colombo i sought four hotels and stayed in two, all the cinnamon hotels do not compared to the room size,friendly staff and bathroom than the Ramada did. the stay in the Ramada was great, I wish I stayed there the whole week instead of the cinnamon lakeside.

Meet fellow travelers who were friendly and helpful. Staff was helpful and nice. Rooms are clean and ac was cold. Great place to stay if you plan on touring Colombo and Sri Lanka. They also let me keep my luggage in storage when I arrived early and when I had to check out but had a later timeline for my train departure.
