There are multiple activities within walking distance - casino, spa, bar, pool. sea, restaurant, shopping mall, etc. The hotel is self contained and enjoyable by family members of different ages. It is affordable compared to other hotels in Colombo. It is new and well maintained. Staff speak English, friendly, and helpful.

Friendly staff ... good location ... does not surprise me that this hotel has hosted kings and queens during the last 150 years. I got good service from Shayna at the restaurant there ... nice breakfast buffet.

Magical hotel in the best area of Sri Lanka. Unlike other high end hotels, you really feel like part of the Cinnamon community here. this was a perfect boutique hotel. staff was helpful, room was very good and the restaurant had amazing food. there is only one issue that I had with the room - there were not enough sockets in the wall for a computer, phone, etc. the staff did bring an extra electrical strip but the connections were not tight enough and worked on and off. since there are only 10 rooms the staff gave a lot of personal attention
