  • In the heart of Colorado Springs yet incredibly secluded this gorgeous home boasts breathtaking, panoramic views of the front range; a homey and comfortable space with in-ground pool and hot tub (SEASONAL: open April 15th - Oct 15th) Just 20 Minutes from the airport and 15 minutes from downtown. but with miles of hike-able trails in the backyard and at adjacent Palmer Park, this is an outdoor escape.

    The rental itself is the entire lower level of the host's home. It features a private, three-season porch, its own entrance, a spacious living area with a big-screen TV and comfy couch and chair set, two beautifully furnished bedrooms, a kitchenette with full-sized fridge, toaster oven, microwave, skillet, and hot plate, a nice bathroom with stand up shower, and a laundry area (NOTE - 1 load per stay is complimentary, after that $3 50 per load).

    There is a big patio in the front, and nice pool deck in back you can use to relax and enjoy.

Great location close to campus.

We had a wonderful stay while visiting ICCS. Close to campus, quiet neighborhood, clean space and great communication with the owner. Would definitely stay here again if back in Colorado Springs!

Charming. Owner is super responsive

Delicious mountain view’s. Quaint and comfy bottom floor with access to pool and hot tub. All needed amenities were there, clean and well maintained. Would stay again!

Wonderful place to stay

The rooms are very cozy and welcoming. Stephanie the host was very accommodating. Anything you could think of you would need was there. She had an amazing book collection for any bibliophiles. The pool and hot tub were awesome. The best part is drinking coffee and watching the sunrise over the mountains

So Cozy!

What a gem! Stephanie's place is comfortable and cozy! The beds are top notch, and we really enjoyed the hot tub. It was a wonderful place for us to rest after busy days of sightseeing. Communication with Stephanie was easy and clear. My husband, mother and I truly enjoyed our visit to the Springs, and this VRBO was a big part of that!

Cozy with a view & bonus hot tub/pool

Stephanie was the best host I've worked with on VRBO! I appreciated she left her phone number but reached out before I even thought about it. The pool and hot tub was perfect for our crew and such a relaxing atmosphere. We will be back!

Wonderful

We had an amazing little getaway for my husband, myself, and 8 year old daughter. We felt very at home at house on the bluffs. The kitchenette had everything we needed. The view of the mountains from one of the bedrooms, sun porch, and living room was so nice. The beds were very comfy and there were little touches everywhere such as little toiletries and tea/coffee. Stephanie was an amazing host and very kind and hospitable. She respected our privacy. My daughter just loved the pool and hot tub which was a selling point. We definitely hope to come back to Colorado and stay again.

Great Location!

Great living area. Pool was great! We did Garden of the Gods, Pikes Peak, Cave of the Winds, Cheyenne Zoo and downtown Colorado Springs and everything was a 20min drive away which I thought was nice. Temps were 85 to 90 degrees each day, but basement was kept cool even with only one air conditioner in 1 bedroom. We kept that door open to the rest during the day. Walgreens for snacks and anything we needed was only like 3 minutes away. Would definitely book again!

Few days with family in Colorado Springs.

We had the entire basement of the home. It was the perfect size for our family of 4. The owners upstairs were very quiet and respectful of or privacy. Stephanie goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome. Our kids loved the pool and hot tub. One evening there was a problem with the pump. But Stephanie and her husband worked hard to fix it so we could swim that night.

Close to UCCS

This is a good location close to UCCS. It is in a quiet neighborhood. Because it is tucked back in the neighborhood that has lots of dead ends, it added a few minutes for us to get to the UCCS campus, but it was still less than 10 minutes, so it was perfect for what we needed for the weekend. Stephanie was quick to answer any questions we had. I sat on the porch area one morning, and it was great that there was a small blanket to snuggle under. This was the first time we had traveled with our dogs, and there was plenty of space to put their kennels, which I really appreciated. The binder that Stephanie provides has a lot of useful information, including the wifi password and even personal recommendations for restaurants.

Outdoor Wonderland

If you are looking for outdoor recreation with the family, this is the place for you! Between the pool and hot tub in the backyard, the hammock, trampoline, swing and porch complete with mountain views in the front yard, there is so much to do outdoors! Not to mention, beautiful hiking trails all around the property. We were able to do an extended stay this past summer because my husband worked remotely. Honestly there was so much to do on the property itself I didn’t have any trouble keeping the kids busy while he worked. They thoroughly enjoyed themselves! Stephanie was so kind and accommodating. The toaster oven broke and she immediately ordered a new one for us. She even let her daughter play with my girls. You will not be disappointed if you stay here! Thanks Stephanie for a wonderful time!

Unorganized, she didn't remember we was coming

Wasn't ready when we got there. She wouldn't answer any text messages. She had laundry in the washer and dryer all week. Reminded her several times and she said she would take care of them. Never did, we ended up doing them for her so we could do our one complimentary wash/dry. None of the doors would close all the way. Couldn't even lock the main door when we left during the day. You could hear them walking (running) upstairs all day and night. She just adopted a 2 1/2 yr old and he ran up and down the upstairs all day until 10:00 pm.

Best Place In Colorado Springs

I don't even know where to begin! We had an amazing stay. It was my wife, 3 boys, and myself. The location, view, and hospitality is what stood out to us! The house was clean and the pool was clean and perfect for our group! Stephanie was great. Most of the time, we didn't even know if they were home or not. So they do give you as much space as you need, but are very fast in responding and accommodating!! We got out a lot, so we didn't get to spend much time with our host, but maybe next time because we will most definitely be coming back! Also, check out her music its very uplifting! We were first time users of Vrbo, we usually stay in hotels. This is a great and comfortable stay, in the case you are a little sketched out for the first time! Again, Thank you for our perfect stay!

Pool/hot tub closed in the winter

The first picture on the listing is this beautiful pool and hot tub combo, but when we put our suits on wandered through the dark side path up the stairs to the pool area, we were disappointed to find they were out of commission. This should have been mentioned in the listing. Otherwise stay was okay. Bathroom is on opposite side of property from bedrooms, which is a little inconvenient. Be prepared to find a home with very uneven floors. Hard to describe, but feels like flooring was just laid over the earth. Also, no thermostat control so it was a little chilly. We found what we thought was a space heater, but it was an A/C unit.

Living in someone’s basement with no way to keep them out

This rental joins with the actual house through a large wood sliding door that you are unable to lock; say goodbye to privacy. Landlord informed me that check-in was at 3pm weeks ago, then informed me as I was driving there from Kansas City that it was an hour later (after being prompted for check in details as they still hadn’t been sent). Laundry is advertised but landlord keeps both washer and dryer full with their own personal things. They invite you to ask to use, but don’t answer any correspondence. To top it all off, there is a heavy and uncomfortable Christian decor motif; does not feel welcoming for those who don’t subscribe. Bathroom sink doesn’t drain. Bathroom vent is broken. Stools in kitchen can’t support weight. Lastly, sprinkler system drenched all of us as we arrived in the only available parking area.

Horrible Experience

We had the worst experience and ended up leaving halfway through our trip. At first I was going to leave a nice review letting people know that because the family lives upstairs it can be pretty loud. However, it got worse. In the middle of the night a cat jumped on my mom while she was sleeping. She tried to let the cat out of the room, but because the bedroom doors don’t shut properly the cat pushed the door open and got on the bed again. Not knowing where this cat came from, my mom put the cat in the sunroom. When we got up in the morning the cat was gone. When we brought this up to the host she asked us what the cat looked like and still didn’t tell us that she even had a cat until she sent a picture confirming it was her cat. She then began to get upset with us and sent one of her kids to look inside where we were staying to find the cat. Unfortunately, the cat was gone. She sent a very concerning text while we were at a wedding saying, “what if something happened to your dog while you were out?” My husband left in the middle of the wedding to get our dog and take him to a hotel. We felt incredibly uncomfortable and unsafe. This lady is not nice and not in a place to be hosting people. I feel sorry for the cat and her kids, but she didn’t even tell us they had a cat! Or any animals for that matter. It also sounds like they were playing basketball upstairs all hours of the day and night. Contacted VRBO and all they say is that they will call me back and have not done so.
