"Very clean room, good breakfast and plenty of parking"

"Nice and cozy lodge at a great location by the river. Short walk to the Main Street where the restaurants are. Nice view of the mountains from the room. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. The shower had good water pressure. Staff were nice and helpful. The free snacks and drinks were a nice touch. It seems like some good people run this place. Would 100% stay here again next time I visit Golden."

"The room itself was clean and comfortable. However, the bathroom could have been maintained better. The shower tiles had noticeable orange buildup in the grout, which made the washroom feel less clean than the rest of the room. Overall, it was an okay stay, but the bathroom could use more attention to detail."

"Very nice propoerty, did not have much time to enjoy the beatiful views from the property due to our schedule and 1 nignt stay. Getting to the location after sunset can be a challenge, especially if there are repairs planned for approach bridge."

"First impression in reception was a let down. Staff member checking is in told us about a recent power outage and that the lift was no working. He sniggered with an “oh and your on the 3rd floor” Disappointed that no bar or restaurant. We had great food in Pint & Fork across the road. The room was good and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. Did not try complementary breakfast as we just wanted to get out of there and we grabbed breakfast in Tim Hortons."

"For over $400, I expected more than a motel-style room with a dirty bathroom floor, the smell of old cigarettes and a solitary bath towel. The 12+ hour power outage was not their fault, but there was no offer of a flash light, wake up call, phone charger or anything else!"

"The stay was better than expected. The check in process was smooth as everything was electronic and check in process and codes available to us before we even reached. The place was clean, amenities were great and every need was considered for our stay, whether it was dishwasher pods or laundry detergent packs. "An amazing place to get away to golf or just relax. Food is great and has great variety, complimented by the wine and sprit selections. The quietness was the first thing that hit us, sitting in the chairs at the fire pit, watching the sunset , provided the ambience we were looking for"
