Though some other rooms were smaller without balconies and it seems like you don’t really know what you get.The breakfast was very good and saved so much time and money. "My stay at Meliá Madrid was mixed. I stayed for two nights, and while there were some positives, there were also a few disappointments. The room itself was spacious, which I appreciated. However, the main issue was the view—it faced a construction site. This was not mentioned on the website, and it significantly impacted the experience. I ended up keeping the curtains closed most of the time, especially at night, since there wasn’t really a pleasant view to enjoy. Another downside was the spa and amenities. One of the reasons for booking was to relax and use the facilities, but that didn’t work out. The spa closes quite early, so after a full day out in Madrid, I wasn’t able to use the jacuzzi or pool. Additionally, reservations are required, which made it even less convenient. I tried going the next morning around 11 a.m., and it still wasn’t open, which was frustrating. Overall, while the room size was a plus, the lack of transparency about the construction and limited access to amenities made the stay less enjoyable than expected."
