"After a delayed flight, check in was easy and Anthony responded promptly to any queries we had, ensuring a couple of small repairs were completed quickly. The villa is spacious and clean but did lack a little bit of love- we thought that just a few things updated would have made such a difference to the overall appearance and provide a better quality experience. Pretty much most of the basics were there except a few things but they were easily bought (e.g pegs- we couldn’t see any but left a pack that we bought, it’s too windy to put washing out without them!) The garden area could have benefited from some general maintenance, cutting back some of the flowering bushes would give you much more space, and allow you to see the lizards even better! It would also help with minimising the amount of dead foliage and flowers blowing into the pool constantly. The owner mentioned that the parasol has been replaced many times, it was far too windy to have it up most of the time anyway but perhaps a basic gazebo/covered veranda over the table area would resolve this and be more efficient and cost effective too. Location was good, 10 minutes walk to a few bars and restaurants and a good supermarket at the bottom of the golf course opposite Hole 19 bar. A special mention for the pool guy who was friendly, frequent and very thorough- he was great! Overall, a good villa but could easily be a great villa with just a few cosmetic upgrades. "We had a lovely holiday and loved the area for it's quietness, just what we wanted.Enough restaurants nearby for what we needed. Loved the pool and convenience of the nearby restaurant 'rendezvouz' for drinks etc.Enjoyed the Irish pub 'The wild geese'and had some great meals, particularly Atlantico sur and JK.Accommodation was clean with suitable for our requirements with a lovely balcony. Only thing I would say is that the advert said hot tub and air con. We never found evidence of a hot tub and the air con was just a fan( although was effective).Manuel was great, met us to check in and also allowed a later check out as we had late flights.Taxis easy to find at the nearby ranks and supermarket mins away.A fab holiday and we would return to both Golf de sur and this Accommodation."
