"We had two weeks at this wonderful Gite hosted by a wonderful couple - Brigitte and Thierry. They were very welcoming and their Gite was perfect for three of us, very tastefully decorated and set in an olive grove, lovely to sit and relax in. There was plenty see and do in the region too - a great location for a holiday."

We were lucky that no one was renting the larger property during most of our stay but be aware that it's very close to it and no physical division so wouldn't be very private when otbers are there. "The property is of a smallish size but clean and tidy the pool is excellent but shared with 2 other villas, the grounds are well kept and it is safe. The villa does require some updating as some of fixings and fittings are starting to look tired and at this price point I would have expected air conditioning and more space. The owner is very friendly and helpful and nothing was a problem. The local area is lovely and providing you do not mind a little drive the beaches are not far"

"Good location for visiting surrounding area. Accommodation adequate for 2 people but for 4 a bit of a squeeze. Stairs to bedroom quite steep with small landing and light switch behind door. As bathroom was on ground floor we found it easier to sleep downstairs. As owner did not speak any English we feel more information about the local area, doctors, chemists,shops etc would have been useful. Overall we had a pleasant stay."

"We had an amazing stay at this peaceful and beautiful VRBO rental. The place is perfect for unwinding, surrounded by nature. Cécile, the host, was super easy to communicate with and always quick to respond. The location is fantastic for exploring the area. "There was one downside of this place - the creeping service fees which are not declared on the Vrbo profile. The website announces that bedding is provided, but then the owner writes to you to ask for €10 per person for sheets and towels. On arrival, you are told to use a screwdriver to clean the shower drains of hair before you leave. Then on departure, with minutes to spare, you are told to clean the whole place yourself or pay another €50. It’s not unusual to ask for a cleaning fee, but...

"This is a new gite in a refurbished building situated in a very large garden adjacant to the owner's home. The owners were very friendly and discreet. The swimming pool was lovely especially as we arrived in a heatwave. There is nice baker for baguettes and croissants 2 minutes by foot, and also a small cafe and a pizza takeaway. The pretty village of Eygalieres is two miles away and has a good selection of restaurants and an interesting market on Fridays. Highly recommended."
