"Wonderful to be able to stay in very comfortable, well maintained and spacious 17th Century accommodation. The Crown Hotel is the hub of the village. My room at the back overlooked the garden and rooftops so noise was minimal. Food was cooked to order, the included breakfast was marvellous with an excellent choice of hot and cold options including plant based ‘milks’. There was a good evening menu with very substantial servings. The only downside was the lack of vegetarian options. All the staff were very polite, friendly and happy in their work."

"Excellent stay. Very friendly hosts. Games room and sauna avaiable. Several pubs nearby (5 minited drive) for food. Property is an old house and has several quirky featured you would expect of a property of thay age."

"Not sure how this received such a low rating previously. I found that it was really good - the room was clean, comfortable and spacious. The food was amazing and incredible value for money - the only issue I had was that I couldn't get the Velux blinds to stay closed, but I think that was more down to operator error! Definitely a place I wouldn't hesitate in stopping at again"
