"Facilities are terrible, there is a reason there is no information or pictures detailed on them, beware! THIS IS NOT GLAMPING! There is not a private bathroom as stated, the private element is actually a shack with a compostable toilet for your wagon. The washing facilities consist of 1 cold water tap, shared by the entire site and used for cooking, cleaning, washing, drinking, etc. and the most horrendous shower I've ever seen, essentially a single old portaloo type unit which has a piece of...

"We have stayed here on a number of times and it just seems to keep getting better each time, the site has been set out to give a level of privacy to each pod, the pods are well equipped and the amount of wildlife is perfect, it can be a bit flyie between may and September, but there are a number of things put in place to reduce this along with fly screen ect, the BBQ fire pits make sitting out on a evening a must, the site is handedly placed for visits to York and elvington air museum."

"We had a really lovely couple of days stay in the Romany caravan. We were greeted with the warmest of welcomes. Bruce left us the most amazing welcome pack, lots of homemade goodies we were well & truly spoilt. Great little place with stunning views and peace and quiet. Leave your cares behind and go off grid for a few days, I can highly recommend it. Brilliant place for dogs, they are made very welcome with no charge."

"The property exceeded what we were expecting. Very clean, fully equipped with kitchen cutlery, plates, cups etc. Cannot fault the property, area, or hospitality shown by the owners. We are looking forward to booking again, this time for a little longer. "

"A great location. Tranquil. A stones throw from Dalby forest. A great stay for building good memories. Quirky decoration just adds to the experience. The welcome hamper was a treat. The spring water was invigorating and pure. The family were very friendly. It was great just to have the kids enjoying the simple pleasures of life.... tooasting marshmallows and wading up the stream."

"A great stay . perfect central location. Surprisingly good choice at breakfast. My only slight negative is that on hotels.com website I understood the parking was at he hotel , but was at a local q park. More finding places in a busy city and not able to easily go back to car to leave or collect things although a few mins parking by hotel ok for main luggage.Costly parking too despite discount ,Would however go agaon as otherwise perfect"
