"There are better hotels in the area for about the same price. Parking was $30 a night and that was unexpected. The hotel has a smokey scent, which i think is intended but it was very unpleasant and just smelled like campfire to me. The room is cramped when you try to use the luggage carrier in and out. And, since we stayed for 5 nights, the rooms didn't have enough drawers for us both to unpack. They were the most shallow drawers ever, wouldn't close with a sweater in them!"

"I had a reservation in Nov 2025 for my anniversary and didn’t get to Make it I called to cancel and she canceled as I thought I asked her to email my cancellation well never got and was billed for 2 nights I never stayed I like 5 hours or more away to not know or thought to check cause the girl on the phone canceled it and said she send to my email which never happen so be careful never will stay there now "

"Have I stayed in worse, yes. Would I stay here again or recommend, no.Let me explain:1. Yes, like some reviews state the house is hard to find. No biggie. You are basically in 2 alley ways so there is no “street side frontage”. Was fine but the garage was super tiny and if you had to park on the street, it would be hard to find a spot. Additionally, I can’t imagine how you would ever do any food delivery etc. Does it look super safe, no but we had absolutely no issue there.2. The house was simply not clean to our standards. Wet, not damp, but wet towels were placed on every bed so we had to launder them before using. The carpets need replacing and are horribly dirty. Living room chair had mystery stains and the floors did not feel like that they had been swept.3. The downstairs shower majorly leaks and is obvious it’s done it for while since there was visible water damage. 4. The downstairs bedroom is freezing! I realize it’s an old house but at least provide a space heater unit to keep some warmth down there. 5. No light at the steps going to the garage which is super dark and slightly dangerous on the steps. 6. Blinds are needed to dim the lights in all bedrooms not sheer curtains. There is a ton of light streaming in from the alley way. 7. Biggest issue for us was the owner did not communicate at all - only automated canned responses and no answer to our direct messages about check in etc."
