Resorts in Coos County

Slow season so not all activities or restaurants were available but the trade off was how peaceful it was. The views are majestic everywhere you turn. The food was excellent and every staff member I encountered was kind and helpful. When we mentioned it was our 25th wedding anniversary, there were some treats with a card delivered to our room.

This a resort with nearly everything one could want. There is a ton to do on premises, and lot off, being in the Mt. Washington national forest. Hotel Staff are very friendly, servers/bartenders are a mixed bag. The food is very good, but pricey. Within 10-20 miles are a number of very good restaurants on Route 302, both East and West of the resort - don;t take all of your meals on the property. Also pricey is the Spa, but the experience is awesome and the staff incredibly 'on point'...

We had a wonderful stay at the Bethel Inn. The staff is friendly and helpful. Upon checking in, we found we had been upgraded to a larger room with two queen beds instead of twins, had a fireplace and a lounge area. Very nice of them. We looked out over the golf course and had a nice sunset. Ate dinner in the tavern and our food was delicious. We ate in the bar area which had a cozier atmosphere than the restaurant part.
