"Excellent hotel. Smooth checkin/checkout. 2 pools one kind of for adults n another one fir families. I used both. Warm pool water which was nice. There was a DJ at night at the rooftop pool m. She was great. Ate dinner at the other pool food was good and they gave one free beer. The room was clean the bed was VERY comfortable and the pillows were amazing and extra large. I used to be a leblon guy until I stayed here. This place is my new go to before I flight back home!!!"

"The location, the Skylab and roof top swimming pool, the gym (which was undergoing an update), the Wave beach club, the breakfast food selection and especially all members of staff, primarily Joao Alfonso on reception and Carmen who looked after my room. All staff were great and professional at all times and were so helpful and always had a smile on their faces. Please note, some room refurbishment is underway, so a little noisey during the day. "

"Miramar is in excellent condition for her age. She was renovated a few years ago and everything was done very well. The showers are amazing. Water pressure is fantastic. The service is top notch. We loved the breakfast. The pool area is lovely. A little small for too many people - and it doesn’t matter because the beach is great too. The view can’t be beat. The walls are nice and thick since it’s an old building and we didn’t hear much noise from our neighbors or from the street. We were on the eighth floor. There is a metro station a few blocks in from the beach and the metro is clean and safe. We had a great time and will be back to stay at the Miramar. Miramar is part of what made our stay in the marvelous city wonderful and memorable. Muito Obrigada! "
