"I am very sorry, but you people are thieves! By mistake, I booked a room at 3:00 AM. When I arrived at that hour—having already made the reservation—they told me that the hotel was full (something that we ALL KNOW IS ALWAYS A LIE; they simply don't want to give you your room at that time of night). ALL I WANTED WAS TO REST AFTER A LONG JOURNEY. When I filed a complaint through Expedia to request a refund—since I was unable to use the room at the time I needed to rest—the Expedia agent gave me hope, assuring me that my money would be refunded because I had not utilized the reservation. Two days later, I received a notification stating that you—Hampton Inn—had not approved my refund request. (Thieves!)"

"We had a wonderful 3-night stay at Vilma's home. Everything we needed for our time in the Keys and Everglades was available, including a well-stocked kitchen, beach towels, and bathroom supplies. All the beds were very comfortable and we all slept well. Vilma gave us some great tips on the best key lime pie and other area options. We also enjoyed the nearby community pool we walked to. A great place! Thank you Vilma!"

"Very nice staff the front desk staff is very accommodating. however the place is an infestation with roaches. I understand it is Florida but that is not acceptable they need to be shut down, The cleaning people is not doing a good job of cleaning the rooms I had a 4 day stay but ended up leaving sooner. I got waken up middle of the night at 4am to 4 roaches crawling on the wall had to immediately turn the light on to confirm. I then waited in my car for 3 hours until management got on site when the managers arrive he was a very Nice guy very understanding and accommodating he did move me to another room but the other room itself was the same thing I ended up checking out that SAME DAY INSTEAD just to go stay at a different hotel because it was unbelievable the amount of roaches I seen from the hallway walls elevator and rooms! They was just hanging out! "

"Very friendly staff! Comfy beds. Clean room. Easy parking. We enjoyed our stay. The water pressure in the shower was amazing. Breakfast was good. "

"The ice maker in the fridge did not work, ice cube trays were not provided. The garage as storage space was great; too many items already stored in the garage did not leave space to park a car. The driveway was totally adequate. The grill that was provided was filled with charcoal left by previous guest; no fresh charcoal was provided nor did we know that would be the case."

"This house was great for the two of us. We used it as a base for exploring Everglades and Biscayne National Parks. Our only issue was that one heard outside noises quite easily; in particular, we heard the nearby rooster crowing at all hours of the day and night (2:30 am, 3:00 am, etc.). Power went out once, and our host checked in by phone a few minutes later. All in all, a very good experience."
