"We were there for a family trip , the house was perfect for us . I will say if you plan to cook or hang out cook dinner you will have to bring your own things. There wasn’t even a spatula to cook eggs. we left the one we purchased the next day. So if you need a bowl for a salad you will need to bring one . "

"Good hotel for the price. Comfortable beds and pillows and liked having amenities like a pool and included breakfast. Staff was friendly and helpful.The bathroom had updates, but the building itself smelled a little musty and could use some updating. Otherwise we were pleased with our stay."

"Clarinda is a halfway point for our trip to our cabin in Missouri. We were looking for an out of the way stop and Clarinda is perfect. The downtown steakhouse was outstanding, and the hotel was a step above the others in town. We will be stopping here again and would highly recommend this hotel and restaurant."
